About the band:

Counterclockwise String Band brings their unique blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass to central North Carolina and the surrounding area. The acoustic four-piece has been performing for over four years and has become an area favorite. Consisting of banjo, guitar, mandolin, and bass, their sound features tight harmonies and thoughtful musicianship. They have performed at the IBMA bluegrass festival, the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival, and the Festival for the Eno, to name a few.

Reviews:

"This band is AWESOME! They are super talented, were able to create bluegrass arrangements to special songs we selected, and were incredible to work with leading up to the event. They were super quick to respond and professional. They were also a huge hit with our guests. More people have commented on the band than any other detail of our wedding. I wish there were 10 stars to give them - highly highly recommended!!" Sara C.

"They have a great sound. My friends and family commented on how much they like them. They played 2 to 3 sessions. A lot of fun. ...It was perfect." Louis R.S.

"They were awesome and such a great fit for our bluegrass concert!" Abby C.

"I hope you had half as much fun playing for us as we had listening to you. Thank you so much for a such a fun afternoon." Fred A.

"We loved having Counterclockwise for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The contemporary bluegrass fit right in with our venue and everyone enjoyed their tunes! They're all super nice and professional! I communicated with Robert and he was a fast responder and always polite. Highly recommend!" Meagan C.
